Bound Coffee Company is one that is close to the hearts of everyone here at Beachly HQ, we are neighbors after all! The Beachly offices sit right on top of my favorite place to grab a latte and amazing breakfast treats. You can often catch any member of the Beachly team down in their cafe grabbing a caffeinated treat or hard at work.

Bound Coffee Company was created by husband and wife duo - Ryan and Maria. The two met through coffee back in 2016 and after years of working with coffee, they fell in love with the process and have stayed connected with the community that they help bring together through coffee and tea.

The Perfect Summertime Avocado Toast

Speaking of amazing breakfast treats, we were able to get an up close and personal demonstration of how Bound Coffee makes their legendary avocado toast, and we can't wait to share it with you! It's the perfect mix of sweet, spicy, and savory all in one and is a unique recipe that will become your new Summer staple!

Here's what you'll need to make this amazing avocado toast: 

• 1 avocado
• Your favorite type of bread (we used sourdough!)
• 2 limes 
• Cilantro
• 1 Fresno chili 
• Agave nectar 
• Dried chives
• Salt 
• Pepper
• The Beachly Monstera Leaf Cutting Board for all your prepping needs!

To start, you're going to need to slice both limes in half, and juice 3 of the lime halves into a separate glass, saving one half for later.

Next, cut the tops off your Fresno chili, slice in half, and remove the seeds from the inside as well as the inner veining. You'll then want to thinly slice the chili and then chop into small bits - about a quarter of an inch! Add all of these chopped bits into the lime juice from the previous step. 

Looking for a little sweetness to cut that tangy spice? Add in a splash of agave nectar, mix, and set aside to marinate as we prep the rest of the ingredients! 

Now, here's where the magic really happens. Slice your avocado in half, and remove the pit. In a separate bowl, remove the skin and add all the avocado. Remember that half of lime we saved? Squeeze all the juice you can onto the avocado, sprinkle some salt and pepper, and mash together to the consistency you prefer! 

Next, you'll want to finely chop your cilantro and set aside for later. 

Take your piece of toast, add the avocado mash on top, and sprinkle an extra dose of pepper and some dried chives on top. You'll then want to remove the chilis from the marinate and add on top of the avocado mash along with a sprinkle of your cilantro. Not only does this add a pop of flavor, but also adds a great pop of color to really get you in the vibrant, Summertime mood! 

Now the next step is the most important, place your avocado toast on top of your new favorite Monstera Leaf Cutting Board, slice in half, and you now have a perfect, insta-worthy piece of avocado toast that you'll be sure to be craving every morning!
