DRIP COFFEE

Tip 1: Wait to Grind. To maintain the fullest flavor, hold off on grinding your coffee until right before brewing. If this is not possible, store the grounds in an air-tight container for the freshest brew.

Tip 2: Rinse Well. Rinsing paper filters with cool water before you brew primes them for filtration and can get rid of tiny impurities.

Brooke's Tip: Fresh whole beans are always the best! And making sure the water you use to brew your cup of coffee is purified makes a huge difference, too.

POUR OVER

Tip 1: Prep Well. Rinse your filter with hot water before brewing. Use a high-quality oxygen bleached filter to maximize the flavor of your pour over coffee.

Tip 2: Enjoy ASAP. Drink your freshly brewed, pour over coffee within 30 minutes of brewing. Don’t let coffee it sit in a brewer all day long. Otherwise it will lose the full-bodied, rich flavor from a fresh brew.

FRENCH PRESS

Tip 1: Grind it out. If you prefer a sweeter cup of coffee, go for a finer grind when using a French Press. If you like your coffee a bit more rich and bitter, choose a coarser grind for French press coffee.

Tip 2: Measurement matters! The standard ratio is approximately 2 tablespoons of coffee per 6 ounces of water. You can use measuring cups and spoons if you want to be really specific.

Brooke's Tip: Always make sure your grinder is clean before using it in a French Press!
