Can you believe we’re already a few weeks into 2021, Beachly Babes!? This year I’m ready to start new habits and really soak up the good vibes. Last week I shared a few benefits of taking daily walks. Today, I’m excited to share a few tips and tricks for focusing inward and boosting our self-confidence. Believing in ourselves can help raise the positivity in our lives in so many ways. And it doesn’t have to be hard to get there. Are you ready to check out 3 easy steps to boost your self-confidence? Step 1. Flash Your Pearly Whites

Ready for a simple tip to take your confidence up to the next level? All you have to do is sit back, relax, and SMILE. Perfect, that’s it! You’re doing it just right. Keep smiling and flash those pearly whites for all those around you to see. Smiling sets the tone to bring in all the good vibes. A simple smile can increase our positive attitude and even improve our experiences with others. This universal way of showing happiness can have a significant impact on your mental well-being. So start smiling more. It’s that easy! 

Step 2. Rock Your Favorite Pieces

Another fun habit to raise self-confidence is to rock your most loved clothing items and accessories. Because let’s face it, looking good helps you feel good too! And this year, I’m all about feeling my best. Even if I don’t have somewhere fancy to go, I’ll still throw on my favorite dress, statement earrings, or my favorite scent. It doesn’t matter if I’m working from home or running to the store to stock up on toilet paper. Ha ha! Sometimes we just need to feel stylish, smile and soak it all in. Putting your best-dressed self out there can help you gain loads of self-esteem. Try it out this week, and I promise you will feel it. 

P.S. I’m sure you will think twice before wearing those lounge pants again, all day, every day. ;) No matter how comfy they may be!  

Step 3. Take it One Day at a Time

And last but certainly not least… It’s important to remember that building long term confidence doesn’t happen overnight. It’s the little things we do one day at a time that can have a big, positive impact on our life. To grow and improve all the good vibes, I always put my focus on something I want in life and start working towards it. A few ways to do this are learning a new skill, trying a fitness challenge, or simply prioritizing clean eating and staying hydrated - I suggest starting with this yummy recipe! The most important thing to remember when setting daily goals is to take it one day at a time. Every small step we take forward can have huge rewards in the long run!
