BEACHLY TRAVEL: 5 ROAD TRIP ADVENTURES TO DO THIS FALL
Does the Fall box have you itching for a new adventure? The seaside, wanderlust vibes that the Gold Coast Weekender, Tropical Vibes Sweater, Shady Lady Packable Hat, and everything else bring are simply undeniable! And with social distancing restrictions slowly lifting, now is a great time to start planning a Fall road trip to put all of your new Beachly goodies to use! These are my top picks for the best adventures to take this season.
1. PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY
The California coastline is one of my favorite places to escape to. My favorite way to road trip is from down South here in San Diego and slowly take my time creepin' up the coast towards the Bay area. The PCH road trip can be as short as a few hours or as long as a few weeks depending on where you want it to take you! There's hidden gems sprinkled all along the way - from dreamy Malibu to the dramatic Big Sur coastline.
2. JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK
Another hidden California gem - Joshua Tree! Whether you're a So. Cal local or visiting for a weekend, Joshua Tree is a magical place to see. It might not be by the coastline, but you sure can put all of your Beachly goodies to use! The coastal, cool feel of the Tropical Vibes sweater and Shady Lady Packable Hat will have you feeling stylish and casual all at once. The perfect road trip vibe!
3. NEW YORK CITY TO NEWPORT, RI
For all our East Coast Beachly Babes! Escaping the city for a breath of fresh air and some sea breeze might be just what you need. One of my all time favorite places on the East Coast to visit is Newport in Rhode Island. From the picturesque town to the charming streets, this makes for the perfect seaside getaway this Fall.
4. OREGON COAST HIGHWAY
The drive up the coastline of California is definitely something you want to experience at least once in your lifetime. But... the Oregon Coast Highway is right up there with it. Oregon makes for a perfect getaway to giant trees, endless greenery, and a breathtaking coastline. Not to mention how remote and serene the drive is. It's simply a must!
5. ZION NATIONAL PARK
Far from the coastline but still an all-time favorite. Utah is the place to go if you're looking for a Fall road trip. And why not start with one of the most iconic of all, Zion National Park!? And this time of year can't be beat - the leaves are an array of bright orange and red, the air is crisp, and the Summer tourists have left for the year. Are you packing up your car yet? I sure know I'm ready to go!
