BEACHLY TIPS: BRIGHTEN UP YOUR HOME WITH SOME GREENERY!

BEACHLY TIPS: BRIGHTEN UP YOUR HOME WITH SOME GREENERY!

Aloha Beachly Tribe! As we float into Fall, I wanted to share one of my favorite ways to brighten up your space as the leaves start to turn and the weather gets colder. I'm all about the tropical, beachy vibes year round and this home decor trick is one of my best kept secrets. So I gathered up some of my favorite pieces of greenery that are lusciously beautiful and easy to keep alive (major plus!). Let's check it out.

MONSTERA

Monstera's are definitely a signature staple in my house. They bring all those tropical feels and are pretty adaptable to almost all light conditions. These pretty green leaves are low maintenance and bring an airy feel to any room.

Brooke's Tips & Tricks: Keep an eye out for dehydrated, crispy looking leaves. This is a tell-tale sign that the plant is either getting too much sun or not enough water. Also important to note -- yellow leaves mean too much water.

SANSEVIERA - Aka SNAKE PLANT

These beauties bring a modern vibe to any beachy abode. And a few more winning points -- they do well in any type of light, need a small amount of water, and aren't temperature sensitive. Plus, here's a fun fact: they have air-purifying properties. How cool is that!?

Brooke's Tips & Tricks: Be aware of yellow, droopy leaves and any abnormal smells. These are signs that your snake plant is getting just a tad bit too much water.

HEDGEHOG ALOE

A cute name and a pretty plant - what more could you ask for!? The Hedgehog Aloe is a cousin to the Aloe Vera. These plants need a bright, sunny spot and don't need too much water. Easy peasy, right?

Brooke's Tips & Tricks: Although these guys love to soak up the sun, when they start to have wilting leaves they're dehydrated. And just like our other favorite plant friends -- yellowing leaves is a sign of overwatering.
