Raised by a New England Folk artist father and a fashion designing mother, Vanessa's artistic journey began early, with a paintbrush always in hand. Although she apprenticed with her father, she is primarily self-taught, specializing in hand-painted illustrations and print design. Her art reflects a deep love of the sea, movement, and vibrant colors. Through her work, Vanessa honors the creative and entrepreneurial spirit of her family, paying tribute to her great-great-grandfather, Lilibridge King Blood, after whom the company is named.
